After getting her degree in Communication Disorders and working in the field for 2 years, Elaine has spent the last 10 years competing her way onto 5 US Kayak teams in Freestyle, Squirt and WildWater. Elaine spends her winters in Southern Vermont where she is the Retail and Instruction guru at Timber Creek Cross Country, and spends her Springs in her Sprinter RV traveling throughout the US and Canada on Paddling, Fishing and Skiing adventures. Summers are spent on the Eastern Shore of Lake Ontario, SUPing and fishing on the lake and throwing big tricks at nearby Hole Brothers on the Black River. Elaine’s husband of 14 years, Jeff, their rescued dog (Fife Brook) and rescued cat (Laya) all join Elaine on all of her various adventures. Elaine is the Customer Service Manager at Pau Hana Surf Supply, a job she enjoys doing from home, the RV or the Lake.
