Summer is in full swing!

We had a wicked awesome trip this year even though we cut it short after Jeff had a rib injury. Luckily, it’s all healed up now. It was great to get home though. I love traveling but after 2 months on the road I’m ready to get back home. We had lots of rain when we got back. I was able to get a bunch of paddling in locally in between splitting and stacking wood for the upcoming winter. We also celebrated our 12th year wedding anniversary at home. It’s been awhile since we did that.
Here’s some photos of summer so far.

Brook and Laya happy to be out of the RV and back at home.

Taking the SUP and canoe down the Fife Brook on the first warm day of being back home.

Had lot’s of great days on the Dryway in my Pyranha Loki.

The rain brought up the WB of the Deerfield.
It’s an amazing run but even better in the summer and in my Dagger Nomad!

Brook doing some fishing!

I finally got some underwater time at CJ.

Went to the zoo with my nieces.

We went home to visit family and to be the godmother of this little angel!

Great time with family at my Aunt’s pool.

I made it in the Greenfield paper during the Zoar Outdoor Demo Fest and AW Deerfield Fest.

Spent 4th of July on the water with great friends.

Finally back in my freestyle kayak on the Black River at med-high levels.

Sailboat and all our watercraft is in the water of Lake Ontario.

We are pretty busy the rest of the summer and fall. I have a few more competitions lined up for the summer and fall plus a trip to Skookumchuck in BC in October.

Here’s a video I put together from the Deerfield River.

Till next time,

Elaine Campbell
