I had a great 2013 season of paddling and competing. I went to Slovenia to compete in the WildWater Sprint World Championships and competed in the Freestyle World Championships in NC in K1 and squirt boating. Competing in two World Championships in the same year was pretty awesome! Hopefully, I can do it again in 2015.
Winter is here and we have about 20 inches of snow so far. Spring kayaking is looking good at this rate! I’m back to work at Timber Creek Cross Country in West Dover, VT and will be at the North Adams, MA YMCA pool sessions on Sundays 10-noon. I bring my Wave Sport boats so if you want to try a Mobius 49, 57, Recon 70 and 83 I’ll have them with me.
I’m working on my 2014 schedule for competing and traveling. I’m excited about WildWater Nationals on the Cheat River May 2-4 during the Cheat Fest, the GoPro Games, the King of NY and Lozer Cup races. Anyway, if your boating this winter have fun! I’ll be back in my boat down south somewhere in March.
